Ximena & Tom - September '23

Updated: Jul 12

Ximena and Tom were clear that a long engagement was not for them! Luckily, we were able to set a date for their wedding just three months later and our enthusiastic couple got stuck straight into planning!

The pair worked hard to bring together a beautiful day. Their Church life is very important to them and they were surrounded by friends, family and Church family to celebrate their marriage in the open air.

After a week of questionable weather, the sun shone as Tom and his groomsmen put the final touches to an outside ceremony area, under the leaning oak tree on the parkland. Guests took to their feet as Ximena made her way across the grass to walk down the aisle to her groom. She made a beautiful bride in a fitted gown with a train, a stunning gold dried flower bouquet and gold accessories that shone in the sunshine.

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests made their way through the barn and out onto the lawn to enjoy drinks and garden games while the happy couple had photographs taken.

The couple wanted a relaxed, informal feel to their celebrations, so caterers, Gold Leaf, designed bespoke grazing stations for their guests to visit to select from a range of both English and Colombian delicacies - a true feast!

Speeches were to follow, with contributions from both families to include childhood tales from the past, stories of Tom and Ximena’s lives together so far, and promises for the future. Plenty to toast before indulging in wedding cake!

A photo station with Colombian vibes and plenty of party props was ready for guests to take pictures to be secured in a book of memories for the couple to keep. More than a couple of the props made it onto the dance floor for a little salsa too!

A party evening full of latino vibes, tequila shots, margaritas and bacon rolls was enjoyed by all to celebrate the union of this very blessed couple.

We wish you all the happiness in the world, Mr and Mrs Wilson.
