Holly & Adam - Sep '24

Writer: Team CHBTeam CHB

Holly and Adam were a dream to work with right from the very start of their planning journey. They both took everything in their stride and it really paid off for the big day!

There is something beautiful about a September wedding. Nestled in the heart of nature, our rural wedding venue was dressed in the soft  tones of autumn. The landscape was alive with rich reds, oranges, and yellows as the trees had just begun to change colour, setting a peaceful yet vibrant atmosphere for the day’s festivities.

When Holly and Adam arrived on set up day they were not nervous at all! Array were delivering all their decorations and props as they arrived which meant they could finally see their vision coming to life. At Curds Hall Barn we offer a three day hire period which means our couples can really take their time the day prior setting up and the day after can be a relaxed clear down while chatting about special moments from the wedding.

With the ceremony complete, it was time for guests to line up outside for that all important confetti photograph! With the sun making an appearance, it was a great opportunity for guests to gather outside on our rear lawn for a few glasses of fizz and some beautiful photos in the parkland. After a short while outside it was time for guests to take their seats in the beautifully decorated Woodshed in readiness for the speeches. With some amazing speeches complete it was time for the hog roast to be served. Little Piggy served hog roast sharing boards to the table which went down a treat with all the guests.

The bar, newly built for our venue this year, was in full swing throughout the celebration. Signature cocktails were created just for the couple: a Margarita and an Old Fashioned were crowd favourites. Local gins, beers, and a selection of wines rounded out the drink menu. Guests enjoyed their beverages while taking a seat on the sofas and chatting about the day so far. What truly made this wedding special were the guests. Family and friends came from near and far, filling the day with laughter, joy, and love.

The evening party was full of smiles and laughter and the DJ really got the dance floor moving. After evening guests had arrived it was time to cut the cake and then head to the dance floor for the first dance. After the first dance has taken place it’s time to dim the lights and let the party begin. The couple opted to have some grazing boards made up for their evening food which were greatly welcomed after a few too many drinks!

Holly and Adam is was a please to be a part of your big day and please keep in touch! xx
