The final wedding of March saw bright blue skies and sunshine appear across the surrounding fields of Curds Hall Barn, much to the delight of our soon to be Mr and Mrs Hulme.
Zoe was a meticulous planner from the onset and although a few obstacles were thrown in her way (thanks COVID!), she never ceased to amaze us with her continuous positivity and calmness throughout her wedding planning journey.
Pete was always cool as a cucumber and extremely laid back throughout the build up to the big day but during setup, we saw a different side to him and the nerves soon kicked in that he was actually getting married in 24 hours time!
Beautiful blooms by Rose and Thorns framed our rustic Grainstore door, acting as the perfect backdrop for Zoe and Pete to exchange vows in the Main Barn, with soft candlelight lining the aisle.Â
As guests arrived, Pete took 5 minutes to compose himself before standing proud with son Kobe, waiting for his future wife to join his side. A last minute dash left our nervous Groom waiting a few extra minutes as Father of the Bride legged it back to collect forgotten bouquets - it’s the Bride’s prerogative to be a few minutes late, right?! Finally with bouquets in hands, the time had come for William, Edith and Brody to make their way down the aisle to their very proud parents followed by Zoe’s sister and last but by no means least, our beautiful Bride.Â
A huge cheer and a sigh of relief saw Zoe and Pete officially proclaimed as husband and wife and whilst guests formed a tunnel outside for our famous confetti shot, our newlyweds enjoyed a well deserved cocktail from the bar.Â
It was soon time for guests to be invited to take their seats in the Woodshed in readiness for the wedding breakfast barbeque feast.. A few heartfelt words were given by Zoe’s Dad and Pete’s Best Man before the new Mr and Mrs Hulme headed outside to catch some famous golden hour shots.Â
Evening guests soon arrived and with mojitos and martinis flowing, Pete plucked up the courage to say a few words about his new wife as they cut their wedding cake in front of their friends and family.Â
DJ Tom soon cranked up the decks and welcomed Zoe and Pete onto the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife. Pete then handed his new wife over to Zoe’s Dad for a beautiful father and daughter dance before everyone else joined in to celebrate the happy couple.Â
Congratulations to Zoe, Pete, Kobe and William for finally becoming an official family of four - it was definitely worth the wait!
