Amy & Jamie - April '22

Amy and Jamie’s wedding was never going to just be about them, it was always going to be about their family of three who is made up by their gorgeous little girl Lily, who stole our hearts from the very first day we met her.

Amy and Jamie planned an intimate gathering, with their closest friends and family members by their side to witness the obvious love between them.

With a set vision in their minds of how they wanted the barn to look from the onset, an emotional Amy and an excitable Lily were first to arrive on set up day. Jamie soon followed with a car bursting with all the little details Amy had been planning over the past few months ready for their entourage to get to work transforming the spaces.

The morning of the wedding allowed for Amy and her girls to be pampered in the comfort of one half of the Old Coach House whilst Jamie and his groomsmen enjoyed a game of pool in the other. Once the boys were suited and booted, they made their way up to the barn to finish the final touches, allowing the girls free reign of the house to get dressed.

The first surprise for Lily drew up to the Old Coach House in the form of two beautiful white dappled horses with plumes on their heads pulling a Cinderella carriage, ready to chauffeur the bridal party and make them feel like real life princesses.

Ready to walk down the aisle, Lily obviously stole the show with her role as flower girl, and although not elegantly scattering petals like she had been shown, the petal ‘dump’ at the top of the aisle had everyone in stitches! Waiting for the cue of the music, Amy made her grand entrance into the Woodshed gliding gracefully down the aisle in her embellished gown as she met her future husband ready to exchange vows.

The most beautiful blue flower wall framed our newly weds as they were pronounced as the new Mr and Mrs Collyer, giving them a picture perfect setting for their first kiss as man and wife.

As our new family of three were whisked off for a horse and carriage ride around the grounds, their friends and family enjoyed all the hard work that had been put into the barn by our happy couple with a glass of fizz in hand.

Guests were soon invited to take their seats to devour a lavish afternoon tea before sitting back and enjoying some heartfelt speeches from Amy’s Dad, Jamie and Best Man Liam.

Sunshine soon peered over the Cartshed, perfectly timed to coincide with a crazy golf tournament before evening guests joined in celebrations.

Amy (and Lily!) are huge Disney fans, and plan to go on a family honeymoon to Disneyland later this year, so it only seemed fitting to have Sassa’s Cakes produce the most incredible ‘Mr Potato Head’ themed cake. Once cut, our newlyweds made their way to the dance floor for not one, not two, but three special ‘first dances’ before dancing the night away to the super talented ‘Up Rising’ band.

Congratulations to a beautiful family, we hope you continue to enjoy life's adventures together.
