Megan & Jack - Nov '25

Megan & Jack chose a beautiful Wednesday in November to host their celebrations and what a celebration it was!

Set against the soft, muted tones of late autumn, this wedding embraced the slower pace of the season. With crisp air outside and a cosy atmosphere indoors, the couple chose to focus on what mattered most to them: good food, close company, and time well spent with the people they love.

The day began with an intimate ceremony shared with around 30 of their closest family and friends. Keeping the guest list small allowed the moment to feel deeply personal – every smile, every happy tear, and every quiet laugh was shared among people who truly knew the couple. November light filtered softly through the space, creating a calm and romantic setting that felt perfectly in tune with the season. Without the rush that often comes with larger weddings, the couple were able to be fully present, soaking in every second.

Instead of a traditional sit-down wedding breakfast, the couple opted for a beautifully laid-out afternoon tea – a choice that suited both the intimate feel of the day and the cosy time of year.

Delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with cream and jam, and an array of sweet treats were enjoyed around the tables. It encouraged conversation, relaxed grazing, and plenty of second (and third!) helpings. Afternoon tea proved to be a wonderful way to bring everyone together, offering comfort, nostalgia, and a touch of understated elegance.

As the afternoon faded into evening, the celebration gently shifted gears. Additional evening guests joined for the evening party, bringing fresh energy and excitement to the barn.

Megan and Jack had organised a hog roast in the evening to cater for the larger crowd and it went down an absolute treat! The smell of slow-roasted pork, crispy crackling, and warm rolls filled the air, drawing guests together and setting the tone for a relaxed, joyful night of celebration.

Also in the evening Megan and Jack had organised an illustrator to come in and draw a beautiful picture of the ceremony. It was great entertainment for guests to watch and the final result was beautiful!

With good food in hand, drinks flowing, and the dance floor coming to life, the evening felt informal, fun, and full of laughter.

Megan and Jack you have been a pleasure to get to know over the past year and we wish you all the best xx
