Winter weddings have a special kind of charm, and this one truly had it all. With 110 day guests and 150 evening guests, the celebration was full of warmth, laughter, and unforgettable moments from start to finish.
From the very beginning, the day felt magical. The weather decided to put on a full show — we experienced rain, bursts of sunshine, and even the most beautiful rainbows stretching across the sky. Just when we thought the day couldn’t get any more atmospheric, as guests were heading home, soft snowflakes began to fall, creating the perfect fairy tale ending to an already incredible day.
Guests enjoyed a stunning three course sit-down meal served by Florentina, who delivered exceptional food that was both beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The care and attention to detail shone through every course, and it was clear how much the guests enjoyed the dining experience.
Photos were captured by I Do Photography on site throughout the entire day, ensuring no moment was missed. From emotional morning preparations and romantic couple portraits to candid guest interactions and a lively evening party, the photos truly tell the story of the day. The changing weather added a dramatic and unique backdrop, resulting in some breath taking images — rain-kissed moments, glowing sunshine, vibrant rainbows, and that magical snowfall finale.
One of the standout moments of the entire day was Michelle and Harry’s first dance. The couple had been practising for months with a professional dance teacher, and it truly showed. As they took to the dance floor, the room fell silent, with guests watching in awe as they delivered a beautiful, confident performance filled with emotion and elegance. It was clear how much time, effort, and love had gone into preparing for this moment, making it incredibly special and a memory that will be cherished forever.
As the sun set and the evening guests arrived, the atmosphere shifted into full celebration mode. Laughter filled the space, music echoed late into the night, and the couple were surrounded by the people they love most, celebrating their marriage in the most joyful way. As the evening celebrations began, Florentina returned with equally impressive evening food, keeping everyone fuelled for a night of dancing and celebration.
This November wedding was a perfect reminder that winter celebrations can be just as breath taking — if not more so — than summer days. Unpredictable weather, incredible food, heartfelt moments, and a packed dance floor made it a day that no one will forget.
Michelle and Harry you planned your day to perfection and it was such a pleasure working with you both! xx
