The lovely Chelsea and Matt decided to marry in September with a very relaxed view on the British weather (what will be, will be), and everything else really!
They opted for a timeless, neutral colour scheme that paired beautifully with the rustic charm of the barn. Soft creams and whites and natural greenery created a calm, elegant atmosphere that complemented the season’s golden light. The neutral styling allowed the warmth of the candles, the laughter of guests, and the couple’s personalities to take centre stage throughout the day.
Their civil ceremony was held inside the barn, which was transformed into a serene, romantic setting. Candles lined the aisle, creating a soft glow as the bride walked towards her groom. The flickering candlelight brought a cosy intimacy to the space, perfect for an autumn celebration. With vows exchanged and rings placed, the couple shared their first kiss as husband and wife, surrounded by family and friends.
After the ceremony, guests gathered on the rear steps of the barn for one of the most joyful traditions: the confetti throw. Confetti flew through the autumn sunshine, showering the newlyweds as cheers echoed around the gardens.
The celebrations continued with drinks and canapés served on the lawn, where guests could mingle and enjoy the crisp but sunny afternoon. Adding to the charm of the day were the couple’s beloved dogs, Ted and Mabel, who made a star appearance for the photos. With wagging tails and happy faces, they melted hearts and became an unforgettable part of the wedding album.
As the sun dipped lower in the sky, guests were invited into the dining room. The newlyweds were announced in with a burst of upbeat music, setting the tone for a lively evening ahead. The room was filled with laughter, clapping, and smiles as the couple made their entrance, ready to share their first meal as a married couple with their loved ones.
The speeches followed, offering a heartfelt blend of tears, laughter, and treasured stories. Guests then enjoyed a delicious two-course wedding breakfast, before heading to the bar to enjoy a Ted (Espresso Martini) or a Mabel (Passionfruit Martini).
The bride and groom share a love of adventures in their camper van, so it was only fitting that a camper van photo booth made an appearance at their wedding. Parked up for the evening, it was a huge hit with guests, who posed for fun photos and created lasting keepsakes to remember the day.
Outside, as the evening settled in, guests gathered by the fire pit. Chip Buckets served loaded fries from their truck at the front of the barn, a simple but genius addition that kept everyone smiling (and well fed!) as the night went on. The combination of glowing firelight, good food, and great company created an awesome atmosphere.
The barn came alive with music, dancing, and laughter as the celebrations carried on late into the night. From the romantic glow of the ceremony candles to the spark of the fire pit under the stars, every part of the day reflected the couple’s love story and their joy in sharing it with family and friends.
We feel privileged to have been part of such a beautiful day, and we wish the couple a lifetime of happiness and adventures together.
