When we first met Emma and Freddie, we knew they had big plans for their wedding and that something special was brewing. Securing an A-list team of local wedding suppliers with a Bride who has a degree in event management, the pressure was on for all parties involved!
As expected, every little detail had been thought of by Emma and her meticulous planning meant that come set up day, she had a morning of pampering whilst Floral Sistas, The Little Lending Company and Country Box Catering worked their magic at the barn.
Emma and Freddie opted for Floral Sistas and The Little Lending Company’s ‘Collaborative Collection’ which offers couples the chance to work alongside them to fully style and flower up their wedding vision. Michelle and Penny met with Emma and Freddie on-site approximately six months before the big day and from the moodboard alone, we were excited to see the final look!
Autumn arrived earlier than usual this year and we couldn’t believe how much the styling and decor complemented the season and weather unfolding so organically.Â
We were wowed from the moment we stepped into the barn so we can only imagine what guests must have thought as they all arrived dressed to impress, ready to witness the marriage of two wonderful humans. As Emma and Freddie opted for a celebrant led ceremony, by the lovely Caroline from The Ceremony People, guests were greeted into the warmth of the Woodshed with a glass of bubbly.Â
A fleet of Range Rovers and Discoveries appeared, meaning the Bridal Party were ready for their grand entrance. With the Groomsmen ready to escort their chosen bridesmaid down the aisle, it was finally the turn of Emma and her Dad. Wanting to bring an element of fun and interaction to the ceremony, Caroline gave the bridal party a ‘roasting’ before taking their seats and telling friends and family Emma and Freddie’s love story.Â
Right on cue, the sun shone for the drinks reception and as guests enjoyed bubbles and beers, Country Box Catering were on hand with a mouth watering selection of canapes. Meanwhile, we were busy in the barn transferring ceremony decor and floristry with the LLCO ready for dining and lighting the abundance of candles scattered throughout. The final look was breathtaking, with the ceremony arch now framing the top table complete with rattan peacock chairs for Emma and Freddie to enjoy their first meal together as husband and wife. Our rustic dining tables were laden with brass bud vases bursting with florals, knotted napkins and slick black and gold place cards. The table plan had been handwritten on boards by the LLCO and leant against each row for guests to find their seats whilst the flavours of their exquisite three tiered cake were displayed similarly, leant against our wooden whisky barrel.Â
The Newlyweds and their guests entered the Main Barn to admire the ‘final look’ before heartfelt speeches were given by Freddie, Emma’s Dad, the Best Man and last but by no means least, the Maid of Honour before the grazing boards were devoured.Â
As more guests arrived to continue celebrations, the cocktails began to flow and the dancefloor soon filled. Luca was on hand outside to fuel the dance floor with his delicious, homemade pizzas late into the evening and from the sore heads the following morning, it turned into one hell of a party!
Congratulations to the lovely Mr and Mrs Beckett, we hope you had an incredible honeymoon in Barbados.
