There’s something truly magical about a July wedding in the countryside — golden light, laughter drifting through the air, and a relaxed, joyful energy that only a warm July day can bring. This stunning barn wedding was the perfect example, filled with vibrant details, thoughtful touches, and unforgettable moments.
Guests arrived to a picture perfect scene — the barn surrounded by sun-drenched fields, wildflowers in bloom, and the sound of celebration just beginning to stir. The ceremony was conducted by the amazing Ashleigh who created a beautiful ceremony which the couple and guests thoroughly enjoyed.
After the ceremony, everyone gathered on the rear lawn for a drinks reception under the blue sky. Trays of chilled prosecco and ice-cold beers flowed freely, while colourful cocktails added a fun, summery twist. To make the atmosphere even more special, Harry and Aysha had organised a lively mariachi band performed during the drinks reception, bringing so much personality and energy to the afternoon. Their upbeat rhythms and infectious charm had guests clapping, laughing, and dancing before the wedding breakfast had even begun!
Inside, the Woodshed looked nothing short of breath taking. Hanging ivy boards and soft, glowing lights transformed the space into a romantic, rustic haven. The tables were dressed with natural greenery and bespoke name cards, each detail carefully chosen to complement the barn’s warm, organic feel.
Adding a personal touch to the day, the floral arrangements and bouquets featured Australian blooms — a beautiful nod to Aysha’s roots. Delicate native flowers added texture, colour, and meaning, filling the barn with a touch of the bride’s homeland and perfectly blending with the relaxed, summery style of the day.
In one corner, a Guinness tap was set up — a huge hit with guests and a fun, unexpected feature that added to the laid-back, celebratory vibe.
As the sun set, the celebrations carried on into the night. A talented DJ filled the dance floor with music, while guests enjoyed the bar, tucked into delicious evening food, and danced under the twinkling lights.
From start to finish, this July barn wedding was a joyful blend of rustic charm, sunshine, and heartfelt touches — the kind of day that perfectly captures what summer weddings are all about: love, laughter, and making memories that will last a lifetime.
Thank you so much Harry and Aysha for choosing Curds Hall Barn and we wish you all the best! Xx
