Finally it was time for our first October wedding and wow, what a great one to start with!!
An October wedding that begins with a traditional church ceremony and ends in a rustic barn is truly the best of both worlds. The formality of the church, paired with the relaxed, inviting charm of the barn, creates a day that’s as elegant as it is heart warming. And with the beauty of fall in full swing—orange pumpkins and cosy vibes—it’s a celebration that’s sure to be unforgettable.
Jessica and Myles chose to have their ceremony at the local church in Necton. A lot of our couples choose to have the ceremony in the Main Barn however it is always lovely when a local church is used. With a five minute drive from Necton church, guests soon arrived and were welcomed in with a glass of fizz.
With the sun making an appearance, guests enjoyed time outside in the autumn sun while they awaited the arrival of the newly weds. Myles had a second love in his life which was his wonderful old Land Rover which they arrived in from church. This became an amazing photo point during the day as the car was dressed with beautiful flowers and looked right at home parked next to the grain store.
While glasses of fizz and bottles of beer were going down a treat outside, it was a great time for guests to make use of the garden games and also get those all important group photos. Photographer Cherrelle was on hand to organise all guests and make sure that every shot the couple requested was taken.
As guests settled into the Woodshed ready for dining, it was first time for the speeches to take place. With some lovely and hilarious speeches finished it was time to tuck in to a feast inspired by the season. A hearty starter of soup, roast chicken for main and a trio of desserts for dessert was the perfect autumn meal.
With dining complete it was time for the party to begin. As the sun sets and the stars come out, the barn’s dance floor comes alive. The barns large dance floor is the perfect place to let go and let the music take control of those dance moves! A secret Jessica and Myles kept from us is that they loved a rave however we soon realised this when 11pm hit and the drum and bass music started!!
Outside, a fire pit crackles softly, offering a quieter space for guests to relax and enjoy the October air. The Chocolate Bar Baker was set up under the festoon lights ready to serve some delicious desserts to those for a fancy late night sweet treat.
Jessica and Myles it was such a pleasure to be a part of your day as it was truly perfect. Have an amazing honeymoon! xx
