Jo & Freddie - June '25

When Jo and Freddie married in June, they transformed the barn into a vibrant yet intimate space for their ceremony with a statement dried flower hanging installation in bold sunset shades, creating an unforgettable focal point.

As the couple exchanged their vows beneath the rustic beams, surrounded by family and friends, the warm tones of the flowers and natural wood created a romantic setting that felt both striking and personal.

After the ceremony, guests stepped outside to enjoy a drinks reception on the lawn. Sunshine, laughter, and clinking glasses filled the afternoon air as everyone gathered to celebrate. The lawn provided the perfect backdrop for photographs, while guests mingled and enjoyed the relaxed country setting before heading back inside for the wedding breakfast.

The Woodshed had also been transformed ready for dining. Above the long tables, lush greenery installations were interwoven with sunset-coloured flowers and dramatic lighting. The effect was magical—bringing the colours of the ceremony into the dining space while adding a warm, glowing atmosphere.

A thoughtful memory table was also included in the room, featuring photographs and mementos of loved ones who could not be present. This touching detail ensured that family and friends were remembered and very much part of the day which was a very important element for this couple.

Guests enjoyed a delicious two-course wedding breakfast and the relaxed menu encouraged conversation, laughter, and connection as everyone shared in the couple’s joy.

After the meal, it was time for speeches. Laughter and tears filled the barn as loved ones shared heartfelt words and funny anecdotes. These personal moments created a real sense of togetherness before the celebrations continued into the evening.

As the band played their sets and the dance floor filled, guests also enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, which glowed against the evening sky. A marshmallow toasting station added a playful touch, inviting guests to roast sweet treats over the flames while catching up under the stars.

Adding a personal touch, the couple served his and hers cocktails—a Cosmopolitan for her and a Dark & Stormy for him. These signature drinks were a big hit with guests and made the reception feel all the more unique.

Later in the evening, fish and chips were served, a simple but much-loved late-night snack that kept energy levels high. Combined with the live music and lively atmosphere, it was the perfect way to keep the party going into the night.

This wedding was the perfect example of how to combine rustic barn charm with bold styling and personal details. The sunset-inspired décor created a striking atmosphere, while the his-and-hers cocktails, memory table, and marshmallow station added unique and meaningful touches. Congratulations Jo and Freddie!
