As guests arrived at the barn, the blue skies started to appear just in time for Kerri’s arrival. Kerri arrived in a beautiful old fashioned car which really made for the beautiful entrance she dreamed of.
The day before the wedding was extremely organised with Kerri and David knowing exactly what they wanted and knowing where everything was going. As the day went on the couples vision started to come together which made them even more excited to see the finished result. Kerri has a background in the events industry which made this task a breeze for them.
The tables were laid up with pink napkins and blue runners which gave the woodshed that pop of colour which brightened the room. Lanterns around the barn stood perfectly and the hanging lights in the main barn really made the dance floor pop. We are lucky at CHB to have amazing under floor heating which means even on the colder days the barn is still a warm and cosy place.
With the sun shining and bright blue skies, our newlyweds made the most of the outside space; posing for photographs with Cooper the dog on the areas of hardstanding, framed by the mature landscaping in the grounds.
With guests seated for dining in the Woodshed for Afternoon Tea, the speeches commenced with some lovely words being shared about our gorgeous bride and groom before the Afternoon Tea stands were served.
Kerri and David made a list of six bespoke Disney themed cocktails which the bar team enjoyed making all evening. All cocktails were linked to a Disney movie and it was such a lovely touch to the day for guests to enjoy. At CHB we are always more than happy to look into creating the perfect drinks to fit your theme whatever that may be!
The ocean blue wedding cake was by far the biggest wedding cake we had seen in a long time, if not ever. The cake consisted of five tiers which all were enjoyed by guests later on in the evening with a cocktail in hand as well!
