Lauren & Tim - Oct '25

ree

Lauren and Iain’s day from start to finish was filled with smiles, laughter and all round happiness. This autumn weekend celebration was the perfect example of how intimate guest numbers can make a wedding feel truly personal and full of love.

The day before the wedding was a lovely day where Lauren and Tim could take their time setting up the barn and making sure it was perfect for their big day. The couple chose a classy design and timeless floral styling to complement the season. Soft, neutral tones were paired with natural greenery and elegant details, giving the barn a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. The tables were beautifully dressed, each place setting thoughtful and stylish, creating a warm and inviting dining space. Tim’s dad had worked hard perfecting large floral pieces which looked incredible.

Lauren and Tim chose a 2pm ceremony which is a time we always recommend to our couples. A beautiful ceremony took place with Lauren and her bridal party looking absolutely stunning. Tim’s dad performed a lovely reading during the ceremony which was beautiful to listen to.

After the ceremony, guests gathered in the cosy barn for the drinks reception. Glasses of prosecco sparkled in hand, beers flowed, and soft drinks were ready for those who preferred something lighter. The relaxed setting gave friends and family the chance to mingle, chat, and soak up the rustic charm of the venue.

Guests were shortly seated for dining in the Woodshed where the speeches took place straight away. Lauren's dad, Tim and his best man all spoke some amazing words and there were also a good few jokes in there as well! Following the speeches, Gold Leaf served a delicious two course meal which was accompanied by beautiful wines.

As evening fell, the celebration took a delicious turn with grazing boards which kept everyone well-fed while they danced, laughed, and enjoyed the night. The laid-back, shareable food options fit the atmosphere perfectly, giving guests the chance to eat at their leisure and enjoy the social buzz.

Quirk Events DJ kept the dance floor alive all evening and guests enjoyed some old school classics as well as some modern pop!

The day after the wedding was spent collecting items from the venue and then chilling out at The Old Coach House accommodation which Lauren and Tim had hired for the weekend. The perfect relaxing day to end an excellent weekend!

Lauren and Tim you have been an absolute dream to work with over the past few years and we wish you all the best in your future together. Keep in touch! Xx
