Lizzie and Shaun were one of those couples who you meet where you just know their big day is going to be full of happiness and big smiles and it certainly was not sort of that.
Lizzie and Shaun's day was full of colour. The Main Barn was covered in pink and orange drapes which looked beautiful alongside the bridesmaids' colourful pink dresses. The Woodshed was really something special. Again, the roof was covered in colourful drapes which really stood out against the dark wood walls. The tables were laid with white plates and beautiful coloured candles creating a real summer festival vibe. For a little bit of extra lighting the couple had covered the wall behind them in fairy lights which was lovely in the evening as the Woodshed became a cosy space for guests to relax. Blush & Blooms created some beautiful flower meadows which took pride of place in the Main Barn during the ceremony and then got moved into the Woodshed onto the end of the dining rows before guests took their seats.
After the ceremony had taken place guests enjoyed some amazing canapes and a glass of Pimms on the rear lawn. Lee Vann was providing some great entertainment during this time with some guests even taking to the mic themselves! Luckily the weather was on our side which meant all guests could stay outside all day and Beth could get some great photos of the couple.
It was finally that time in the day for the speeches to commence. With all guests seated it was time for Lizzie’s dad, Shaun and his best man to take to the stage. After some amazing speeches it was time for the hog roast. Guests were served a buffet outside on the hard standing with a full pig being carved for them as they made their way up table by table. For dessert the couple's friend had made an amazing cake for guests to enjoy. This was a lovely way for guests to mingle and have a coffee before the evening party started.
We knew this group was going to party hard and they really did! Lee Vann and his DJ created a really party atmosphere which kept all guests on the dance floor throughout the evening. Lizzie and Shaun had decided to move our fire pit around the back of the barn onto the hard standing which allowed for all guests to stay in one place. The garden games outside kept guests busy right up until midnight!
Lizzie and Shaun you had such an amazing group of people around you on your day and it was a pleasure to be a part of it xx
