Lucy & Adam - Nov '24

Our first wedding of November was definitely one to remember! Lucy and Adam had put so much hard work into their big day and once it was all set it was wonderful to see their visions come to life.

With the trees around the barn turning a beautiful golden orange it was an amazing site for guests as they arrived for the ceremony. The ceremony took place inside the barn, where the couple exchanged vows under beautifully crafted drapes and festoon lighting intertwined between the beautiful wooden beams. Candles lined the aisle, casting a romantic glow, while guests took their seats in the cosy warm barn.

As they said their "I dos," the barn was filled with joyful cheers and the sound of applause, marking the beginning of their happily ever after. The atmosphere was intimate yet full of life, making it a ceremony that no one would soon forget.

With the sun shining it allowed guests to take a quick step outside allowing the confetti photo to take place. Guests soon entered back into the barn to enjoy drinks and canapes. With our in house bar open as well it meant guests had a full range of drink options to enjoy throughout the day.

The woodshed was warm and welcoming ready for guests to enjoy a warm meal provided by Back To Your Place. Before food could be served it was time for some speeches to take place. The Woodshed is the perfect dining room for an intimate feel but with enough room for 120 guests to feel comfortable and relaxed. As the November light starts to fade earlier than summer months, extra lighting can be a great addition throughout the barn. Lucy and Adam chose fairy lights around the beams and lots of candles on the tables.

After dining had finished it was time for the all important sparkler shot to take place. All guests lined up out the front of the Main Barn under the festoon lighting which was such an amazing picture. Evening guests finally arrived which meant the party could begin! The guests had been partying all day however the real party was really ramping up with the arrival of The Sax Walker. Having an aspect of live music alongside a DJ is a great way to surprise your guests and keep everyone on the dancefloor all night long. Drinks were flowing at the bar with our couples cocktails going down a treat along with a few shots as well!

The evening catering was supplied by The Pizza Post and they served an amazing selection of pizza throughout the evening. This definitely went down well with guests after a few drinks! Street food trucks are a great way for guests to order food as and when they require it. With the truck set up under the festoon lighting and next to the fire pit it was an amazing place for guest to come together and talk about the day so far.

Lucy and Adam you have been such a pleasure to work with over the past year and we wish you all the happiness for the future- please keep in touch! xx
