Rochelle & Davy - Nov '25

Rochelle and Davy’s wedding day had finally arrived and what a beautiful day it was! There’s something truly special about a November wedding — the golden light, the crisp air, and that unmistakable sense of intimacy that comes with gathering loved ones as the year winds down. This autumn, our barn was filled with exactly that kind of magic for a relaxed countryside celebration that perfectly captured the couple’s laid-back style.

The ceremony took place at 3pm, just as the afternoon sun began to dip and cast a soft amber glow across the fields. Inside the barn, guests gathered amongst rustic wooden beams, twinkling candles and simple seasonal decor — think dried flowers, candles, and warm, seasonal tones that suited the season beautifully. With 60 close friends and family looking on, the couple exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony that was full of laughter, happy tears, and pure joy.

As the sun set, the atmosphere shifted seamlessly from ceremony to celebration. Another 50 evening guests joined the party, greeted by the cosy hum of chatter, clinking glasses, and the delicious aromas drifting from food trucks parked just outside. With a mix of hearty comfort food and street-style favourites, guests mingled under festoon lighting, sat around the fire pit and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.

The evening party was an evening full of dancing and laughter! DJ Sax and Bongos provided the evening entertainment and they kept all guests on the dance floor till midnight. The bar was buzzing with Espresso Martinis and Cosmopolitans being enjoyed by all guests.

One of the things that made this wedding feel so special was how it unfolded over an entire weekend rather than just one day. The couple and their families stayed in our on-site accommodation for three nights, turning their wedding into a relaxed getaway. The house became the perfect base for the celebrations — from a cosy night in on Friday with pizza and prosecco, to a slow Sunday morning breakfast spent reminiscing about the day before. With its spacious kitchen, roaring fire, and views across the fields, it created a warm, homely setting for everyone to come together and truly enjoy the experience.

This November wedding was proof that autumn celebrations can be every bit as magical as summer ones — especially when the focus is on good food, good company, and a relaxed atmosphere. With its rustic charm and countryside backdrop, the barn was the perfect setting for a day that felt intimate, joyful, and completely them.

Rochelle and Davy you have been amazing to work with and we wish you all the best in the future! xx
