There’s something magical about a Wednesday wedding – a little unexpected, wonderfully intimate, and the perfect way to bring friends and family together. This May, the sun shone brightly, the skies stayed clear, and the air carried that fresh, new-season feeling that only springtime can bring.
From the moment we first met Natasha and Tommy we knew they were just going to be the most fun couple to work with. Planning meetings were always filled with laughter which is exactly what we want leading up to the big day.
Natasha and Tommy’s day was perfect from start to finish. A beautiful ceremony took place at 2pm accompanied by their closest friends and family. After a heartfelt ceremony, guests spilled outside to soak up the sunshine, clinking glasses and enjoying the vibrant countryside setting. The relaxed midweek atmosphere gave the whole day a sense of calm and joy – no rush, no stress, just pure celebration. The bar was open from guest arrival meaning guests had a full range of drinks throughout the day as well as corkage free drinks supplied by the couple.
Natasha and Tommy had worked really hard picking the perfect colours and decor for the barn and they absolutely smashed it! The couple chose a beautiful green colour palette that couldn’t have been more fitting for the season. From the bridesmaids’ dresses to the delicate foliage woven into the florals, every detail echoed the natural beauty of May. The barn was dressed in soft greenery, stunning drapes, and elegant touches that created a fresh, timeless backdrop for the celebration. The Woodshed was decorated with elegant fairy lights, white drapes and candles that bought that extra glow to the room. Everything was just perfect!
As evening fell, the party truly came alive. With the dance floor full from the first song to the last, laughter and music carried through the night. It was a reminder that weddings aren’t just about the ‘big day’ feeling – they’re about creating unforgettable moments with the people who matter most. Bucket List was on site serving loaded fries throughout the evening which really kept guests going until midnight. The bar was buzzing with guests ordering passionfruit martinis and jammy dodger shots!
At the end of the evening guests made their way back to nearby accommodation and our couple, alongside their closest friends and family, headed back to The Old Coach House to enjoy the rest of the evening and the next few days as well.
Natasha and Tommy you have been amazing to work with over the past two years and we’re so glad you chose Curds Hall Barn for your big day! Xx
