Sophie & Ashley - Jun '25

A beautiful Saturday in June meant it was time for Sophie and Ashley to finally tie the knot. This beautiful Saturday wedding captured everything we love about the season: sunshine, laughter, and an explosion of colour.


From the moment guests arrived, it was clear this was a wedding full of personality. The couple had chosen a vibrant colour palette of pinks, yellows, and oranges — a joyful mix that perfectly reflected the bright summer day. Everywhere you looked, bursts of colour brought the space to life: from the bridesmaids’ dresses to the floral arrangements. 


The ceremony is always the most special part of the day. With guests seated and Ashley waiting excitingly at the top of the aisle, it was time for the girls to arrive. Sophie and her beautiful bridesmaids made their way down the aisle ready for the ‘I do’s’ to begin. After the ceremony was complete, it was time for the confetti which is always such a fun part of the day to welcome the newlyweds. 


Sophie and Ashley had transformed the barn in a way we hadn’t seen before. It was amazing to see a couple have so much confidence in colour as sometimes we can shy away from it if it’s not been done before. Quirk Events had hung some incredible multicoloured drapes throughout the Main Barn. Inside the barn, guests were greeted by a playful twist: disco balls! Hung high from the ceiling beams, they caught the light and scattered it across the room in shimmering patterns. Smaller disco balls were tucked onto the dining tables too, nestled among the colourful florals and flickering candles. This quirky touch added sparkle and fun to every corner, and as the evening light shifted, the whole room came alive with reflections and glitter. Each table felt like its own little celebration.


Florentina served a beautiful course of canapes during the drinks reception which went down a treat! As guests were seated for dining, Florentina served a delicious sharing main course followed by a small selection of desserts for guests to enjoy. Once dining was complete, it was time for those all important speeches to take place and they were all absolutely amazing!


As dusk fell, the barn transformed into a vibrant party space. Guests hit the dance floor beneath the mirror ball lights, the perfect continuation of a day so full of colour and joy. With the doors open to the warm summer night and laughter spilling out into the rear lawn, it was everything a June wedding should be: bright, carefree, and unforgettable.

This wedding was a perfect reminder that summer is for celebration — and that a touch of sparkle never goes out of style.
