Suzanne and Adam were our last wedding of August 2025 and what a wedding it was to finish the month with!
Suzanne and Adam first looked around in October 2024 and fell in love with the venue. Some couples believe booking a wedding within a year of the date is tricky however with our guidance and a range of wonderful suppliers, they absolutely smashed it out the park!
The day before wasn’t the best weather however spirits were not dampened. Suzanne, Adam and Man of Honour Dan arrived at the venue to begin setting up. With the held of Daisy from Smoke and Wildwood the barn quickly came to life. Suzanne and Adam hired some large trees, sofa set and candles from Array and also provided some of their own personalised pieces. The Main Barn was decorated beautifully with festoon lights draping throughout the barn and white drapes covering the ceremony space. Candles lined the aisle and two beautiful olive trees sat either side of the colour at the top of the aisle.
With guests seated ready for Suze to arrive, a very cute vintage Fiat 500 made its way up the drive with Suze and her dad inside. Such a great way to arrive in style! The bride and her party entered the barn where a surprise was waiting for them. The bridal party made there way down the aisle however before Suze and her dad entered it was time for a surprise speech over the PA system by Suze’s dad. It was a lovely moment which led straight into the entrance song.
Once the ceremony was complete, Suzanne and Adam made their way back down the aisle and were greeted with shot of tequila to start their marriage off the right way! Guest were taken out to the rear lawn where they lined up for the all important confetti photo. Suze, Adam and Scour the dog walked out to a roaring cheer to welcome the newlyweds. Drinks and canapés flowed shortly after all served by Country Box Catering. Suze and Adam had added a personal touch to their beers and added a personalised image on their brew dog cans. The weather was beautiful during the drinks reception and allowed for some beautiful photos out of the lawn and under our stunning new arch.
After a short while guests made their way into the Woodshed which is where dining was due to take place. With guest seated it was time for Suze and Adam to be announced in take their seats at the top of the room. They chose to have a top table with just the two of them which is always a great idea to spend quality time together during your day. A delicious three course meal was served by Country Box Catering and speeches took place between each course which is always a great way to allow guests to have a break between each course.
After dining was complete it was time for the real party to begin. Adam was part of a band which actually played during the evening which was an amazing personal touch to the evening. The bar was buzzing all evening and cocktails were going down a treat. The Simple Slice Pizza company was on site during the evening. Evening food trucks always go down well in the evening, especially after a few too many cocktails!
Suzanne and Adam it was such a pleasure to be on your wedding planning journey with you. From showing you around to seeing you off the day after the wedding, it has been amazing! Please stay in touch and pop back and see us soon xx
